This is a great session. I need to investigate all of their links.

Wordle is not filtered, so it is more of a teacher tool.
One school has the kids copy/paste their writing into Wordle to see how often they use the same words in their passages.

Use surveys to select book awards.

Set up book discussion around Twilight.

She seems very unprepared. Special Ed teacher. She really doesn't have anything to say that is worthwhile. She uses AR, but I don't think she said anything new.

Idea - Millionaire's Club = Million Words - Number can be found in AR

Oh, Boy!

We went to Mama's today and when we came home the kitchen floor was flooded. We had already noticed the water hose outside had sprung a leak.

Anyway, the control box on the well had burned up. It would not stop running which caused too much pressure on the lines which cause one of them under the kitchen sink to pull loose at the pressure fitting.

Every towel in the house is wet from soaking up the water.

Ed will have to get a box tomorrow to repair the well. In the meantime we have no water. Sponge bath tomorrow.

To add to the confusion, we had to turn off the breaker switch to the hot water heater. Of course, it was not labeled.

Labeling those switches has to go closer to the top of the to do list. We have been saying we were going to take care of it for three years.

Thank goodness, Ed is not one of those type to get all bent out of shape. He is just teasing me about adding to his "honey-do" list.
